My practice informs my teaching and facilitation. Through my work in postsecondary success coaching, I support students and educators in navigating systems, making decisions, and accessing opportunities.
Postsecondary Success Coach | Embarc
In my current role, I support high school students, educators, and school partners in navigating postsecondary pathways that align with students’ goals, strengths, and realities. My work spans direct student coaching, educator partnership, and strategic collaboration across schools and community partners.
Key areas of focus include:
Postsecondary planning and advising (college, career, and alternative pathways)
Coaching educators to strengthen postsecondary culture within schools
Supporting implementation of postsecondary readiness experiences
Translating strategy into practice within classroom-based and schoolwide models
Contributing to organizational thinking around scale, sustainability, and impact
What I value most about this role is the balance between relational work and systems-level thinking. I work closely with students while also helping educators and schools make sense of how postsecondary readiness fits into their broader goals and constraints.

My background includes roles across education, nonprofit services, and student support spaces, including work in:
K-12 education systems: Supporting students and collaborating with educators to strengthen postsecondary readiness
Higher education and student affairs: Focusing on student development, advising, admissions, and recruitment, multicultural student affairs
Nonprofit and community-based organizations: Delivering programming and services aligned with access and equity
Administrative and program coordination roles: managing operations, supporting implementation, and ensuring program effectiveness
These experiences have influenced how I see how systems operate and where they fall short, particularly for students and families navigating complex institutions with limited access to information or support.
